My new spot has about 300% at least, but my old slip was maybe 150% at best, Normally it was no issue, but I had to go north to get out and if the wind was heavy from the south it could be a little tricky. As for small powerboats, the ones I have had actually didn't steer all that well at idle speed and in neutral they barely steered at all. The I/O or outboard makes a poor rudder.
