I have a Practical Sailor collection from 1987 to 2013, at that point I figured they had jumped the shark and stopped subscribing. Ever since the departure of Dan Spurr and others, PS seemed to lose a bit of focus and started evaluating products based on occasion on some weird amateurish tests. I get a lot of honest product and process feedback from here and from other online sailing sites, so for me PS is just not cutting it.
