I vote list. I am on a whole passel of forums and although I like them just fine, if I have to remember yet another forum name and password sequence to log in with I’ll shoot myself…
I have an "all Mac, all the time” setup and my C&C list emails use a Apple account conditional rule to shunt off to a C&C folder. There the emails are grouped by subject and I can open that grouping up and pick and chose. Pretty bog standard email software. Forums are great but I think that they need a critical mass to be effective. This list isn’t really that large given the number of regular responders and for me has a nice feel to it. With only a few voices in the forum it might seem kinda empty. Although, the thought of a dedicated forum category labeled “Foredeck Cow” has a certain appeal to it… Best, Dave Godwin 1982 C&C 37 - Ronin Reedville - Chesapeake Bay Ronin’s Overdue Refit <http://roninrebuild.blogspot.com/> > On Mar 14, 2015, at 8:02 AM, Josh Muckley via CnC-List > <cnc-list@cnc-list.com> wrote: > > Ron, > > I understand that you get notices via email but can you participate in the > "forums" via email? > > For me, the strength of the list is that I don't have to do anything above > and beyond checking/reading/sending email.
