I sailed on one at Newport at the C&C Rendezvous last year and passed on on the water (going in the opposite direction) on Gardeners Bay this summer. The boat is a blast downwind. We were doing 11-12 knots in 9-10 knots of wind. Upwind it is designed to sail on its chines so you better have your feet on the built in foot brace or hold on tight. Jerry. J&J. C&C 27 mkv.
