I bought a set of 20V DeValt impact driver and drill, came with two batteries and a charger from Home Depot when they were on sale. Very nice and powerful. They are marginally better than the 18V ones. I also have a Ryobi jigsaw with 2 batteries,. I also got a very powerful searchlight that was working wiht the Ryobi batteries. Nutdrivers end up to be too shallow for me most of the time, so I prefer 1/4 inch deep socket wrenches/ Allen wrench set is important for bimini and dosger, as well as BBQ attachments.
On the other end of the spectrum I have a 1 inch socket for a 1.5 inch nut, a 3/4 inch breaker bar and an adaptor from 3/4 in to 1 inch so I can deal with my keel bolts. Voltmeter, alligator clips, mirror, several vise grips a smaller and a large adjustable wrench, 2 sizes of phillips and straight screwdrivers, a good size leatherman, various knives.
