When the topic came up in the past, it seemed like most people were looking for polished stainless steel similar to what Ken has. I'm a little apprehensive about how plastic will look as well as how well it will hold up. I'm not familiar with "part programs" but I can probably come up with a line diagram kind similar to a blueprint.
