FWIW I am replacing the Aqua Signal Series 40 Quickfit tricolor w/anchor light on Imzadi in the next week or so. I was happy with the light, but it came up missing after a 30+ knot squall (with some serious chop) down in the Neuse. The Quickfit feature is probably a good idea if you take your mast down each fall – but in my case it appears the vibration and shock of the storm and flogging headsail caused the light to rotate (the Quickfit is sort of a twist lock attachment) and fall overboard.
