Hi, Those are different, Atomic ( and most motorcycles ) share same oil for engine and transmission. ATF type A is the standard automatic transmission fluid, ATF type F is for Ford transmissions, so stick to ATF Type A fluid.Many manual transmissions/differentials also requires Hypoid oil ( grade between 70 and 90 ), but you should go with what's recommended by the manufacturer.. That’s what I have been using, but this discussion has listed motorcycle oil for the transmissions in A4’s. Am I using the proper fluid? - everything seems to be running fine.
