Ron: I'm not sure what's in it. I doubt it's unique, surely there are lots of similar products out there.
I guess my point was that as much as bleach is the old standard, it does sometimes cause collateral damage. Also as soon as the chlorine reacts or evaporates, it done and gone. Whereas the specialty product I tried seems to offer some persistent resistance to re-growth. If you can't find a specialty product designed specifically for mold at a local hardware store, you could try a janitorial supply house, or Acklands Grainger.
