Here’s what I used for my ‘plastic’ tanks: https://www.fisheriessupply.com/thetford-fresh-water-tank-sanitizer-36662. It is supposed to be non-corrosive. I’m curious how you got Monel tanks. It is corrosion resistant but does corrode. I have a 3” ball from a sea valve that has ¼” deep pits on the surface where it was exposed to salt water.
