Good enough for me, will give it a try in the spring. Windburn is pretty dry, not much gets in from rain or spray. A very little gets in on the port side midship with the rail buried for a while, wipes up with a cloth. I shouldn't be bothered but so close to being completely dry ...

It may just be that the stuff is so watery that it finds it's way under the rail, possibly sneaks around the fasteners and works its magic.
