OK I really appreciate all of these comments about window replacement, (mostly because I have one coming up this spring myself); I have been trying to save them all on one document, but it has become a hodge-podge of separate comments and bits of advice; can anyone put all of this together in a some order...or as a flow chart? maybe it should be posted on the photo album? Many thanks: all of these comments are definitely appreciated!

I also put a 45 degree bevel on the back side of the Plexiglas to about half the thickness. I also put a very small bevel (1/16") on the front side just to protect any bare feet that might hit it.
