Question: does the soda/walnut shell blasting affect a barrier coat like Interprotect?

They uses walnut shells and I believe they charged me $1000. Well worth it. No impact on the gel coat whatsoever. In fat they commented that the bottom looked as though it just came out of the showroom when they were done.
