I don’t recall the details, but Practical Sailor did a test on the hoses and the Trident was one of the two top ones. I think the other was a bit more flexible, but more expensive.

Trident 101 Trident Marine: Sanitation Hose is warrantied against odor permeation for 5 years. However, it's been on the market for nearly 20 years without a single reported odor permeation failure at any age. But that doesn't mean you can expect it to last 20 years. After about 10 years, all hoses--water, exhaust, fuel, bilge, sanitation-- become hard and brittle, prone to cracking and so should be replaced. https://forums.sailboatowners.com/index.php?threads/hose-peggy-recommended.134141/#post-852323<https://nam03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fforums.sailboatowners.com%2Findex.php%3Fthreads%2Fhose-peggy-recommended.134141%2F%23post-852323&data=02%7C01%7C%7C7e2d496c992f4912da9a08d61019d6ab%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C636714100485031010&sdata=na2vS6L%2F8npRPVUAvCDKv%2F23aDcJrJ5ADhTJfKImYlg%3D&reserved=0> https://forums.sailboatowners.com/index.php?threads/what-stinks.131368/page-2#post-828670<https://nam03.safelinks.protection.outlook.com/?url=https%3A%2F%2Fforums.sailboatowners.com%2Findex.php%3Fthreads%2Fwhat-stinks.131368%2Fpage-2%23post-828670&data=02%7C01%7C%7C7e2d496c992f4912da9a08d61019d6ab%7C84df9e7fe9f640afb435aaaaaaaaaaaa%7C1%7C0%7C636714100485031010&sdata=Ja9mDByzRrqSrHrbN0iNWhSGlFgJ%2Bj4q2Zo3IxjUFVM%3D&reserved=0> On Sat, 1 Sep 2018 at 10:41, Neil E. Yuck! I looked in our original C&C manual and found a 15.5 gallon holding tank listed. Not sure if these were standard issue or an option but SLY did not come to us with a holding tank. So my questions are: > 1. Where were the holding tanks installed? > 2. What were there configuration? Dimensions? > 3.
