The insurance company will assign a surveyor to assess the damage. Try to be there when he is and go through everything with him. Talk to your agent. Feel free to pester him with questions and help moving things along. And then for dog's sake do not allow that yard to do any work on your boat! My new boat was there when I bought her a year ago and I had the feeling they hate sailboats and their owners and they know nothing about them. I've dealt with hundreds of yards and had pretty positive experiences with almost all. Borden Light was by far the worst! Andy
