I like the Davis instruments; they are well made and long lasting, which is a rarity these days. I had an old spare unit installed at home for a while but decided to sell it, as there are enough local stations near me that I don't need it. When I was working, we hosted one of the local stations for the Island Weather research project out of UVic. Some really interesting weather data can be collected when you have dozens of these units spread across an area:
