I have a 35-1 and did like Richard (your green option) for the
knotlog transducer.  I wanted it forward in undisturbed flow.

It's mounted under the V-berth step. Note the white circular inspection
port under the shoes in this pic:

It's fairly easy to access through the inspection port.  Also in there is
the thruhull and valve for my air conditioner.
