I think this is psible in th emost recent ROMs

There is a project on SourceFrge to do all sorts of fun thigs with the
Cobalt ROM.  You should direct development inquires there, as the Cobalt ROM
is not being actively developed by Sun (no more Cobalt products).  Sun *is*
doing bugfixes, but those are few and far between on the ROM.
