Yes it is, but in the end the rom kernel provided me with what I needed to get the system up and running. That and mounting the livecd as my nfsroot-x86. Sun *is* > doing bugfixes, but those are few and far between on the ROM. I do not expect much from Sun. However most of the developers on that rom project subscribe to these lists.
