i did upgrade the rom (to 2.3.40). i forgot to install the cmos tool but i can pull that cmos rpm from the cobalt restore image i have. ive also got 2 other raq3's running the cobalt os that i can get binaries from.
ill look into the rom commands for the default boot setup. i looked at it briefly before and noticed there was an option to boot a gzip kernel. i suppose that is the option i need. is there a way to write the 2.4.19 kernel to the rom?
