Most of those issues I believe are related to files being created as .rpmnew, which isn't something we can really fix. It's a pretty common situation to be in with RPM upgrades. The good news is, if you're a newcomer you wouldn't run into that situation with a clean install of 2.2. Beyond that, with the new release schedule I'd expect us to have a bug fix release in the next couple of weeks unless we find any bugs that are major show-stoppers.
