Hi, I am working on some hacks to "push" server configurations to ESXi servers.
I have a good kickstart for ESXi I have extended koan to create detailed VM config files There are different versions of these, and different VM types There are so many config parameters it would be pointless to put them in the GUI This is a job for templates I am working on a push script which SSH's into the ESXi server, downloads the VM config file, builds the disks, registers the VM and starts it I think I can use triggers to build and remove VMs Problem is, I am not a programmer, so I am hacking the Python scripts myself, badly. If anyone is interested, email me direct. I just merged in support for ESXi 5 last night (includes gPXE support too). I had written that months ago, but never merged it because I wanted some more testing on it. _______________________________________________ cobbler mailing list cobbler@lists.fedorahosted.org https://fedorahosted.org/mailman/listinfo/cobbler _______________________________________________ cobbler mailing list cobbler@lists.fedorahosted.org https://fedorahosted.org/mailman/listinfo/cobbler
