Birders,
Some of the sightings on our bird walk this a.m. at Barr Lake State Park were:

1 - Great Horned Owl (roosting near the 1st benches on the Niedrach trail)
12 - Black-bellied Plovers  (8 were flying around and the others were on the 
shore along the Niedrach trail and seen from the board walk and the benches 
where the owl was roosting)
Greater and Lesser Yellowlegs
Cackling Geese
Canvasback
Redhead
Ruddy
Bufflehead
Wigeon
Western, Pied-billed, Horned Grebes
Peregrine Falcon flyby
Catbird (at feeders)
Brown Creeper
and many Franklin's Gulls.
