I guess yesterday's Pueblo swan, is a juvenile Tundra Swan because of the black
legs, and not a juvenile Trumpeter Swan. Maybe all confusing juvenile swans
that aren't next to anything to compare size, should be left as
Trumpeter/Tundra Swan. Swan identification seems very difficult to me. If
anyone sees a swan on a Colorado CBC, there needs to be photos I think. So,
try hard to get photos and send them in, or the Regional Editor might have to
change the any swan to Swan sp. or Trumpeter/Tundra Swan or whatever.
