This morning, I decided to run over to Red Rocks to see if the Golden-crowned 
Sparrow would show at the feeders.  When I arrived, Carol Sullivan was looking 
for her life bird.  I scattered some hulled millet and waited for at least an 
hour, looking through the various sparrows (White-crowned, Juncos, and Song) 
and enjoying good conversation.  At last, the Golden-crowned made a short visit 
before giving up trying to get food near the aggressive Scrub Jays. Distant 
photos can be seen later today at the site below.
