Jeanne and I were birding the Kettle Ponds at the Air Force Academy this
morning and it was quite birdy - almost 50 species.

The highlight was an immature Little Blue Heron on the upper pond. We saw it in
flight and perched. Very white in flight with dark spotting on the upper side
of the wings, and a very pale blue when perched.
