Yesterday (5/29) Greg Levandoski and I birded around sharp point drive
and the ELC in the am. We were not very fortunate in finding rare
warblers but did find the motherload of Flycatchers. They were
ubiquitous with Western Wood-Pewee being the most common species.
Here is the abridged version of our bird list;
Broad-winged Hawk (2 juvis)
Alder Flycatcher (visual/heard 1)
Olive-sided Flycatcher (2)
Willow Flycatcher (heard 2)
Least Flycatcher
Dusky Flycatcher
Red-eyed Vireo (3)
Plumbeous Vireo
Warbling Vireo
Orchard Oriole (2 females)
MacGillivary’s Warbler (2)
Wilson’s Warbler (+10)
Swainson’s Thrush (+30)
Western Tanager
Yellow-breasted Chat
Brewer’s Sparrow
Chipping Sparrow
Lincoln’s Sparrow
