Reservoir on May 28.
--An ad LAUGHING GULL was found by Duane Nelson at Dinosaur Point on the
north side of John Martin Reservoir on May 29.
--At Tempel Grove on May 29. Sanders reported f CANADA WARBLER, Northern
Waterthrush, and Indigo Bunting.

Boulder County:
--A m Blackpoll Warbler was reported by Stiles at Walden Ponds on May 29.
--A f Northern Parula was reported by Guarente on the St Vrain Greenway S of
Golden Ponds in Longmont on May 29.
--A f Chestnut-sided Warbler was reported by Alderman at Golden Ponds in
Longmont on May 29.
--An imm Broad-winged Hawk and f Northern Parula were reported by Severs on
the south side of St Vrain River west of Hover in Longmont on May 29.
--On May 29 at East CU Campus in Boulder, Nunes reported ALDER FLYCATCHER,
ad Broad-winged Hawk, Blackpoll Warbler, and Indigo Bunting.
--A Blackpoll Warbler was reported by Mlodinow on the Lyons Riverwalk on May
30.

Dolores County:
--A pair of Black Phoebes was reported by Dunmire at Bradfield Campground
Boat Ramp on May 30.

Douglas County:
--A Blackpoll Warbler was reported by Halverstadt in Boxelder grove in
DuPont Open Space in Louviers on May 29.

Douglas/Jefferson Counties:
--At Chatfield SP on May 28, Kellner reported a f BAY-BREASTED WARBLER and a
molting m Summer Tanager at the Plum Creek Picnic Area near the largest
Cottonwood at the end of the parking lot.

El Paso County:
--An imm Little Blue Heron was reported by Goff at Kettle Ponds at the Air
Force Academy on May 28.
--A juv Black Phoebe was reported by Burns at Hansen Nature Park in Fountain
Creek RP on May 28.

El Paso/Pueblo Counties -- Chico Basin Ranch
Chico Basin Ranch is a fee area ($15/day)
--On May 28 at HQ willows a singing m BAY-BREASTED WARBLER and Magnolia
Warber were reported by Bill Maynard.  On May 29, Newport and Kilpatrick
reported that many
birders saw the m BAY-BREASTED WARBLER at HQ.
--On May 28 at the banding station Bill Maynard reported a m BAY-BREASTED
WARBLER, Black-and-white Warbler, and Prothonotary Warbler.
--On  May 29 by the banding station, Chartier reported Palm Warbler,
Black-and-white Warbler, and Magnolia Warbler.

Kiowa County:
--A HUDSONIAN GODWIT was reported by Sanders at NeeGrande on May 28.

Larimer County:
--On Sharp Point Drive and around the Environmental Learning Center on May
29, Sparks reported 2 imm Broad-winged Hawks and 1 ALDER FLYCATCHER.
--A m Indigo Bunting was reported by Powers at Boyd Lake SP on May 28.
--On May 28 on the Poudre River Bike Trail and social trails N of Prospect
and on the W side of the river, Leatherman reported an eastern juv
RED-SHOULDERED HAWK, 1 singing Ovenbird, and 1 Northern Waterthrush.
--3 Northern Waterthrush were reported by Nelson at Lake Estes on May 28.
--A Winter Wren and 2 Ovenbirds were reported by Core north of the
confluence of the Spring Creek/Poudre River Trails in Fort Collins on May
29.
--An ad Broad-winged Hawk was reported by Webb at Watson Lake State Fish
Hatchery on May 29.
--At Grandview Cemetery on May 29, Leatherman reported f Hooded Warbler, and
imm Broad-winged Hawk.
--At Dixon Reservoir in Fort Collins on May 28, Leatherman reported f
Magnolia Warbler and 1 singing Ovenbird.
--A Cassin's Kingbird was reported by Mlodinow at Fossil Creek Reservoir on
May 29.

Las Animas County:
--3-4 HEPATIC TANAGERS were reported by Drummond in Reed Canyon (CR 177.9)
on May 29.

Logan County:
--A Chestnut-sided Warbler was reported by Kaempfer at Red Lion SWA on May
28.

Mesa County:
--Larson reported BLACK-CHINNED SPARROW at Colorado National Moument early
in the morning on May 28.

Montezuma County:
--A pair of Black Phoebes was reported by Dunmire at Cabin Canyon CG on May
30.
--A Pair of Black Phoebes was reported by Dunmire about 1/2 mile below
Mcphee Dam on May 30.

Otero County:
--A 1st-spring Summer Tanager and Black-throated Sparrow were reported by
Drummond in Picket Wire Canyon on May 28.

Pueblo County:
--At Rock Canyon by the Osprey Picnic Area on May 29, Percival reported
Ovenbird and Black-and-white Warbler.

Washington County:
--On May 27 at Last Chance, Stachowiak reported a f CANADA WARBLER and
Summer Tanager.
--On May 28, at Last Chance, Peterson reported RUBY-THROATED HUMMINGBIRD,
and Magnolia Warbler.
--On May 29 at Last Chance, Floyd reported a f Magnolia Warbler.
--At Cope Memorial Park on May 29, Floyd reported a singing Bell's Vireo.
--At Prewitt on May 29, Mlodinow reported 2 ALDER FLYCATCHERS, 2 Ovenbirds
and 1 Summer Tanager.

Weld County:
--On May 26 at Beebe Draw (CR 42 near CR 45) 2 GLOSSY IBIS were reported by
Mlodinow and seen again on May 30 by Roller.
--On May 28 at Crow Valley CG, Righter reported several Ovenbirds.
--On May 29 at Crow Valley CG, Lewis reported Tennessee Warbler and 2
Ovenbirds and Hansley reported a Northern Parula.
--On May 30 at Crow Valley CG, Bruening reported 1 singing Northern Parula
and 3 Ovenbirds.
--At Norma's Grove on May 29, Lewis reported Northern Waterthrush.
--At Glenmere Park in Greeley on May 29, Mlodinow reported imm Broad-winged
Hawk and Magnolia Warbler.

The DFO Field Trip for Saturday, June 4 will be to the Pine/Bailey Area led
by Chris Blakeslee (303-694-4670).  Meet the leader in parking lot just
south of Conoco station at Dartmouth and S Sheridan (SW corner across from
old Bear Valley Shopping Center) at 0630.  Alternative:  Meet the group at
710 at the Pine Junction Country Store on the west side of Hwy 285 at the
stoplight in Pine Junction.  Bring Lunch and water.  Bring clothing for
changeable mountian weather.

The DFO Field Trip for Sunday, June 5 will be Creative Ways to Learn Bird
Sound led by Alison Kondler.  Meet the leader at 0730 at Roxborough Visitor
Center.  Pleas Pre-register by calling 303-973-3959.  Space is very
limited.  Bring water and snacks.  Directions:  Take S Wadsworth Blvd, past
Chatfield SP to Waterton Road on left.  Take Waterton Rd 1.6 miles east to
North Rampart Range Rd, turn right and go south 2.3 mile to Roxborough Park
Rd.  Turn left and follow signs to the park (2.2 miles).
