I just finished working CR 38 south out of Gunnison this afternoon. Four miles past the pavement end I had four grouse feeding at the bottom of the draw about 50 yards from the road on the east side. Returning I had eight more right next to the road feeding in grass. I'll have pictures on my blog later this evening (www.bigyear2011.com). This was year bird number 701! #700 was seen earlier today- Pinyon Jay at Davis's in Lyons.
