Okay so its a start. There were 60 Sandhill Cranes on the 7S and 3E roads this morning. There has been a lot of snow on the west side of the Valley this year, but finally some thaw has occurred and is opening up some fields. Also nearby was a Prairie Falcon. Welcome back cranes!!! The Refuge is starting to run water into the fields so things will change quickly from here on....
