Did a quick swing-by of Cottonwood Marsh on the way home from work today. I was there between 3:30 and 4PM and saw an even dozen TUNDRA SWANS. One of them is our old friend U856, first spotted in November. He's still here, and the juveniles are definitely much more white than they were last fall. Also seen (not a complete list, I'm sure):
Canada Geese (a few) Canvasback Widgeon Red-headed Ducks Ring-Necked Ducks Common Goldeneye Ring billed gull Red Winged Blackbird Black Billed Magpie Photography wasn't great when I was there as the birds were all too far away. One photo of all 12 swans: http://www.flickr.com/photos/63892538@N04/8532918118/in/photostream Thanks, Nancy Rynes Lafayette, CO -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Colorado Birds" group.
