>From a forensic perspective I took pictures off the bird at 12:19 PM today 
(I cross-checked my camera's clock to be sure this time is exactly correct) 
and there was no evidence of this blood (?)  at that time. I cannot tell 
what time Carolyn's pictures were actually taken at based on the .jpg info 
I can see in her posted shots, we only know when she posted them. So 
something happened early this afternoon.
