A slower day today, with both fewer birds and fewer species. We stayed
busy sharing information with first a Community College of Denver class,
then an OLLI beginning birdwatching class, and finally 3rd graders from
Peiffer Elementary. (Whew!)

Here's the breakdown for the day:

Black-capped Chickadee 1
House Wren 3
Yellow Warbler 2
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Myrtle 6
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Audubon's 4
Yellow-rumped Warbler, Intergrade 1
Yellow-breasted Chat 1 (FOS)
Spotted Towhee 3
Lincoln's Sparrow 1

We will be banding mornings Tuesday through Sunday (closed on Mondays)
through May 31. Denver Audubon has scheduled one-hour time slots at 7:30,
8:30 and 9:30 for visitors on weekends; visit here
<https://denveraudubon.org/events/> to register. (I believe many time
slots are already sold out, so register soon if you would like to visit.)
