Coccinelle should be able to find the next definition after a parse error and
continue from there.
I hope that the tool "spatch" will become able to process source code like the
following with corresponding support for identifiers with leading underscores.
string.h:
...
__BEGIN_NAMESPACE_STD
/* Copy SRC to DEST. */
extern char *strcpy (char *__restrict __dest, __const char *__restrict __src)
__THROW __nonnull ((1, 2));
...
/* Append SRC onto DEST. */
extern char *strcat (char *__restrict __dest, __const char *__restrict __src)
__THROW __nonnull ((1, 2));
...
