I'm praying for little Benji. It sounds like when our Delilah got a UTI and crystals in her urine...she had blood and really strained to go sometimes.. but other times she just couldn't hold it all of a sudden and just peed right where she was...she was on antibx and a special diet for awhile that did help her...Take care and let us know how he made out ok?

here is an update, I thought Benji was doing better, producing more
urine, then yesterday, he started passing blood again, quite a bit at
first, then just drops when he finishes peeing. And for some reason,
he seems to urinate at night, during sleep, he is always wet in the
mornings. I am going to call my vet tomorrow and ask what else we can
do, and how much the dye, x-ray procedure would cost. the breeder told
mom if Benji didn't get better, he would let her have another pup, but
I am determined he is not getting this one back just to put him asleep,
I figure if I reimburse him for what he has spent on the dog, tail bob,
dew claw removel, and all he is going to do is put him to sleep, he
should be willing to let me have him. If nothing else I will find
someone who is willing and able to go the distance with this adorable
little pup.
