stick my nose in here and question which antibiotic is being used.  many vets use the wrong antibiotic just for not knowing the best most current treatment for a serious UTI.  he may need cipro and for at least a month not a week of something lesser.   you may also want to add cranberry capsules ( a natural helper )   and has the vet checked for stones? even the best miss something out of their area of expertise     YAHOO!
