Awwwww...how sad for little Truman.  The breeder that we got
our Rodey(parti-cockapoo) from, sent us home with a cute, little "cuddle
sheep"toy that still had his mother's scent on it.  That must have
helped; because we never had a problem with the crate at night.  Perhaps as
suggested, keeping the crate in your bedroom might help?

good luck,
lenny

Subject: [cockapoo] The yowling...it's breaking my heart!

Hi all!

I have been in LOVE with cockapoos since I discovered them a year ago,
and we finally picked ours up yesterday. His name is Truman and he is
8 weeks old. He has a face that just breaks my heart - and a yowl that
breaks it even more! He is the happiest, most wonderful little puppy -
and is trying so hard to please us. And I know I've only had him one
day and I'm a rookie here, but I just wanted to know how long it took
the rest of your pups to get accustomed to the crate (if you use one
at all.) I know in the end it will be the best for him, but it breaks
my heart to hear him cry when I put him in there!

Thanks all for your help. I am ecstatic to finally be joining your
ranks!!!

Taryn, Drew & Truman
