we kept our little girl in the crate in our bedroom on the first night.  we
made sure it was facing us so she could see us.  she didn't love it and
cried a bit, but she eventually fell asleep.
we made sure to put all of the stuff our breeder gave us in the crate with
her, so she'd have familiar smells. we also included a t shirt that we had
slept with for a few nights, so she's get used to our smell quickly.
from the second night on, she was comfortable sleeping in the crate at
night, but she hates going in there when we're home, or if we're not going
to bed.
i know the crying is hard, but she'll be better soon!
