have her ear hairs plucked and the ears cleaned at every grooming. I don’t
feel real confident yet at trying to pluck them myself.
I have hemostats and that's what I use to pluck, it doesn't hurt them at all
and it's easy but then I groom them myself too.

I had the hair cut short on her face up under the air to help with the
circulation. If I notice they’re a bit dirty, I take commercial ear cleaner
on a
tissues and wash the outside portion of the ear. This solution can also be
put into the ear canal and massaged to help clean out the inside also. She’s
a second generation and does get hair growth insider her ears.
That amazed me because I never did my 2 first generations, Lacey the first
time she had a clump of hair in her ear, now doing it pretty regular it
doesn't have the chance to grow.

I wonder if food allergies can also be tied with the ear infection thing.
Luckily, so far so good with Mia, but time will tell.
With some that is true especially if the ear infection is yeast. Food can
play a role in it.

I jump started her eating again J I took her of the Timberwolf, and have
tried a sample pack of Merrick – Campfire trout. If you add a little warm
water it makes a gravy; Mia goes nuts for it! I’ll be experimenting with other
quality foods to give her variation. And I’m sure I’ll get a bunch of
responses as to how HORRIBLE Merrick food is also! It seems everybody has a
bad
experience with almost every food out there. So, I guess it’s really an
individual thing. Her favorite, hands down, is homemade people food. Last
night
she has chicken and peas…complements of the chef. So, no matter the dog food
we purchase we supplement that with “our” food.
Tried Merrick too, they didn't like it. Your right every food has
complaints, long as the ingredients are good and Merrick is by their list of
ingredients and she likes it, is all that counts. There are way too many
foods out
there and it confuses everyone.

P.S. We got her groomed VERRRRY short as we skipped a grooming and she had a
bunch of mats, OMG she looks like an overgrown rat; so funny….she’s a
skinny little thing. This is a convenient cut for us as she HATES to be
brushed
and combed; something I hope she grows out of. So, today she looks just like
a poodle, in three weeks, she’ll look like a cockapoo again, he..he….
LOL she has her adult hair, and that's when the matting begins, I cut mine
short too, the long is too much work, in fact did haircuts on all of them
yesterday, 2 got bath's and 2 more today. They love the short hair they are
bouncing all over the place now. So it works for all of us and we don't have
to
do haircuts every 6 weeks, they are going 2 months to 3 months in between
haircuts and baths are every 2 to 3 weeks because being white and buff they
look
gray after a few weeks, LOL.
