just wondering how easy it is for would-be hackers to get inside my code.

It depends. For 32-bit apps, it's trivial for someone to inject code using an input manager or something. For 64-bit apps, I don't think that's been done yet, but it probably could.

is there a particular tool a hacker would use for Mac apps?

class-dump?

There are far more powerful tools out there. Not the sort that are easily found publicly, but in certain circles "evil tools" are definitely available. Not so much the "would-be hackers" but the "hard core hackers" do.

So if you're worried that class-dump may reveal something, that "may" becomes a "definitely will"... (and even some of the "unlikely"s become "possible"s)
