  To be fair, Johnny has a point. This is an area where the
documentation definitely needs to be consistent. Some convenience /
factory methods *do* specifically state they return an autoreleased
instance, but this one apparently does not. I was a bit shocked by
that.

  I don't consider that repetition, merely specification.
