Thanks for the follow up.
I saw this but I happen to have multiple embedded view controllers. While it's 
possible to do a search, it's more difficult because there are multiple embed 
view with the same view controller class. Let's say, views are in position 1, 
2, and 3 and I want to configure 1, 2,  and 3 differently based on their 
position.
I'm thinking of making a outlet to the embedding view and then compare this 
view with view controllers in childViewControllers. But seems like a lot of 
busy work It would be great to be able to more easily lookup the view 
controller for a particular embed view. Any chance?
