Hi, Just wanted to thank everyone who responded to my question. I'm trying to get the memory management stuff down cold, hence I was breaking the memory management rules in my Counter class and was perplexed by the results I got.
The explanations here have certainly helped increase my understanding on the issue and given me some more things to think about! Thanks again.
