thank you guys so much! That makes perfect sense (now), and I'm glad I only wasted most of the day. I do think that programming guide on bindings could be improved or elaborated on a little bit. Kyle what do you mean by binding the table view's content property? I understand what you mean, but I'm unsure of what I should bind it to. The array controller's array? or the tableView's dataSource?
