All files in my Open Recent menu are local.

I just build a copy of TextEdit with some debug statements. But no visible
delay in the Open Recent menu (although the same files are listed of course).
Quit. Started /Applications/TextEdit and again there is a delay. Sometimes 2
seconds, sometimes up to 16 seconds.

Probably gremlins have invaded my /Applications/TextEdit.

Kind regards,

Gerriet.
