Would this work?

You could do :

id myObj =[myClass alloc];
myObj = [myObj performSelector(@selector("initWithManager:") withObject:myObj];

Thanks for this, I was wondering if that would work too. I want to pass self (the instance of the current class) to initWithManager though. So can I just use:

myObj = [myObj performSelector(@selector("initWithManager:") withObject:self];

Thanks
Dave
