Hi Derek. I think you might have overlooked the other suggestion in my msg:
I have mysql_comp.jar located in $TOMCAT_HOME/webapps/cocoon/web-inf/lib, not $TOMCAT_HOME/lib as you do. Maybe makes a difference, maybe not. Just thought I'd point it out though.
