I am using those pieces in my project. The source to my (unfinished) project can be found at http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/wpigdc-cms/cms-main/. This might be what you're looking for; I'm not using ESQL or anything, but rather, JDBC through a transformer.
