There's a full authentication in sunSpot that is very easy to implement. Check out http://xml.apache.org/cocoon/developing/sunrise.html and http://www.need-a-cake.com/stories/2002/02/28/usingTheSunriseComponents.html Try it step by step and you'll see that it's not really difficult, yet very flexible. You can use every datastore you can use in Cocoon as a user database. This includes any JDBC databse, text files, xml files and LDAP. Bert
