If you need info on Solaris TCP/IP and related tuning you are best of checking: http://www.sean.de/Solaris/tune.html I must admit though that nobody is ever gonna get me insane enough to run ircu on Solaris x86 :-] So personally I've only used the info for Database, Web and Mailservers on Sparc but a lot of the stuff on the page will be interesting for ircu. If you need any help I can probably spare some time and give you what I think are the most suitable things for tuning Solaris for ircu.
